Company Description

Today, when you go to your doctor and get referred to a specialist (e.g., for sleep apnea), your doctor sends out a referral and tells you, “They’ll be in touch soon.” So you wait. And wait. Sometimes days, weeks, or even months. Why? Because too often specialists and medical services are overwhelmed with referrals and the painstakingly manual process it takes to qualify your referral prevents them from getting around to it on-time, or sometimes at all.

Tennr prevents these delays and denials by making sure every referral gets where it needs to go, with the right info, at the right time. Powered by RaeLM™ Tennr reads, extracts, and acts on every piece of patient information so providers can capture more referrals, slash denials, and reduce delays.

Role Description

We’re looking for a Product Manager to own and build Tennr’s productivity platform - the layer that governs how all work is managed, prioritized, and executed in Tennr. This includes the foundational user experiences that every customer touches daily, and that every other product sits on top of.

As the Productivity Platform PM, you’ll own the vision, strategy, and end-to-end execution of Tennr’s work management tools. You’ll ensure these experiences are intuitive, coherent, performant, and capable of supporting increasingly complex workflows as Tennr scales. You’ll deeply understand how users manage work today, identify friction across different workflows, and design a platform that maximizes productivity. This is a rare opportunity to build the core experience of Tennr — the workflows, controls, and interaction patterns that make complex healthcare operations feel effortless.

This role is highly user-centered, workflow-heavy, and cross-functional — perfect for someone who loves shaping elegant user experiences that make day-to-day work smoother, faster, and more enjoyable. You’ll partner closely with engineering, design, customer success, and other PMs to bring clarity to complex workflows and ensure consistent, effortless execution across the platform. You should be energized by building scalable systems, skilled at distilling user needs into thoughtful solutions, and excited to build the foundation that all of Tennr relies on.

Responsibilities

  • Own the success of Tennr’s productivity platform, ensuring everything we build measurably improves commercial and customer outcomes.

  • Define the product roadmap by synthesizing market signals, customer insights, and business priorities into a unified platform strategy that scales across all Tennr products and verticals.

  • Lead product discovery to uncover pain points, map workflows, and validate hypotheses, turning insights into actionable product opportunities and user-centered solutions.

  • Build, launch, and iterate on new capabilities from 0→1 and 1→scale, ensuring fast learning cycles, high-quality execution, and a cohesive, enterprise-grade platform experience.

  • Engage cross-functionally and with customers, using clear communication to shape decisions and lead the product lifecycle from ideation to launch.

  • Drive adoption and commercial success by partnering with go-to-market teams to shape positioning, enablement, and product-market fit across Tennr’s customers and verticals.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Product minded: 3+ years of product management experience, preferably in B2B SaaS, workflow-heavy products, or productivity tools.

  • Proven builder: Proven ability to take ambiguous product ideas from concept to launch and from prototype to revenue, especially in fast-moving environments.

  • UX focused: Skilled at crafting intuitive, delightful user experiences in collaboration with Design to ensure products feel seamless and effortless for users.

  • Technical fluency: Able to break down how complex systems work under the hood, distill technical needs and constraints, and partner with engineering to make smart tradeoffs.

  • Highly collaborative: Effective at working across Engineering, Design, Customer Success, Sales, Product Marketing, and other PMs to drive clarity, alignment, and momentum.

  • Design thinking: Skilled at uncovering user needs, synthesizing insights, and crafting them into cohesive product strategy and requirements.

  • Strong communicator: Able to translate business priorities, customer needs, technical complexity into clear product narratives for executives, customers, and partners.

  • Bias to action: Energized to move fast, test ideas, and refine through feedback.

  • Ownership mindset: Accountable for outcomes, thrives in low-structure environments, and comfortable owning strategy and execution.

  • Healthcare interest: Excited by our mission, and genuine interest in applying technology to solve problems in healthcare.

Why Tennr?

  • Drive Impact: one of our company values is Cowboy, meaning you set the pace. You won’t just talk about things, you’ll get them done. And feel the impact.

  • Develop Operational Expertise: learn the inner workings of scaling systems, tools, and infrastructure

  • Innovate with Purpose: we’re not just doing this for fun (although we do have a lot of fun). At Tennr, you’ll join a high-caliber team maniacally focused on reducing patient delays across the U.S. healthcare system.

  • Build Relationships: collaborate and connect with like-minded, driven individuals in our Chelsea office 4 days/week (preferred)

  • Free lunch! Plus a pantry full of snacks.
