Senior Product Designer

Overview

Parallel is on a mission to help people discover their life’s work by connecting organizations with the individuals destined to build their future. We are seeking a Senior Designer with strong brand and product design expertise to join our team. This role requires flexibility to work overlapping hours with the Eastern Standard Time zone, ensuring seamless collaboration across teams and time zones.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end brand and product design initiatives that align with Parallel's mission and values.
• Create compelling visual identities and design systems that resonate with diverse audiences and elevate brand presence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and marketers, to deliver cohesive and user-centered design solutions.
• Drive consistent design standards and advocate for best practices across all platforms and touchpoints.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and adapting to evolving priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Proven ability to design across multiple media, including digital products, marketing materials, and brand assets.
• Strong understanding of design principles, user experience, typography, and color theory.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across distributed teams working overlapping EST hours.
• Proficiency in leading design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalents.
• Worked in early-stage startups 0 - 1
• Highly conceptual work in their portfolio
• Worked at design agencies or top startups
• Experience with brand & product design
